Throughout this time and by virtue of the opportunities presented, our business has developed into a very capable option, that caters for all aspects of pond design, pond construction and pond maintenance.
By using a clever acronym, and with no real thought or understanding of what we do, up to now, we have presented as’ Imas’ Aquatic Services (Ian Menzies Aquatic Specialist).
We have engaged many loyal clients over this time, and seen investment into a bit of water in the garden that on the face of it doesn’t obviously add up. So after pondering (pun absolutely intended) how this could be, I realise that what we do is more than just supply a pond service, we enable people to connect with their own piece of decorative water in their own private space.
As humans we are drawn to water, whether that’s sitting by a beach next to the sea, cruising down a river, or exploring a lake. I could go on and on, but the fact is that in the main our holiday time is spent on or in or by ‘water’. Let’s face it, all pictures look better with a bit of water in them… your garden included.
We are drawn to water and having our own piece of it in our home or place of work. Not only serving us by enhancing your living or working space, but dare I say it, an area of properly considered, easy to manage decorative water has more than the potential to support your wellbeing.
The more I understood this, the easier it enabled me to understand how we have established our business in such a niche market, where our clients really receive the value from what we do and are truly dedicated to the upkeep of these features.
I feel truly privileged to be able to provide this service for people, and really wanted a business name and brand that really stood for what we do.

Over the 2019 season, we will be transforming our business from Imas Aquatic Services to ‘Still Waters’ Pond and Water Feature Specialists.
We are in the process of completing our office, showroom and consultation space. As soon as this is done we will develop our full website to highlight the extent of the services we provide.
